...that he was really an owl! ;)
Owls are big these days - and they are cuter than ever! I love the colors in this little guy and he was just begging to be put on a card. :)
The papers are from CTMH's "Twitterpated" collection (and I *love* it).
Card measures standard A2 size.
Enjoy!

The Polka Dotted Apple - Thank You Card
Another great for your favorite teacher. The apple is glittery, which makes me happy. ;)
I really love the DCWV "The Grade School Stack" - if you haven't noticed by now. :)
Card measures standard A2.

An Apple A Day - Thanks Card
Everyone knows teachers love apple, right? ;) What a great card for your favorite teacher!
Some of the apples are glittered, so it is even more fun. Glitter makes everything better (or at least more sparkly!).
Card measures standard A2.
Enjoy!

Thank You with Star Banner
The stripe and star papers are from a new DCWV stack: The Grade School Stack. The entire stack is adorable and various papers have glitter and foil on them! :) The red stripes on this card are foiled, but you can't really tell. :(
The card measures standard A2 (4.25 X 5.5").
Enjoy!

Butterfly Card - square
This is a 4 X 4" square card I created with a promotional paper collection from CTMH, "Miracle" (I think). Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a great picture that showed off the inked edges of the card. :( There is vineyard berry lightly sponged onto the edges of the card.
Enjoy!

Beads by Syndel - 2
My 5-year-old has been busy again! :) She made over 150 beads this session and is really excited to show them off!
Here she is in action:
Here is one of her "tied up balls" before she cut it into beads:
Here's the cross section of that ball:
I'm really impressed with her work and wanted to share. :)
Enjoy!
PS) If you'd like to purchase some of Syndel's beads you can find them here:

Barrel of Monkeys
I love monkeys - they're just so cute - especially when they're green and kinda patchworked. :)
The card measures a standard A2 (4.25 X 5.5") and is blank on the inside.
I paper pieced the monkey from a couple different B&T (background and texture) papers from CTMH - old school CTMH - these papers are retired. :(
The "wood" is white cardstock cut out with the coluzzle circle then sketched with pencil into boards. Once I did that, I trimmed around the edges to make them more "board-like" and then started in with the Copic markers. I used about six different shades of brown and then blended - then added more brown and blended some more - then blended even more after coloring some more. It took me a while, honestly, but I think it turned out okay. Once I added some brads ("nails") I think it looks pretty cute. :)

Round Cards - 1
Round cards seem to be "in" these days so I decided to make a few. I like them just fine, but I can't say they're my favorite. :)
I used the Coluzzle to cut the cardstock into a circle - just overlap the edge on one side to accommodate the fold in the card. :)
These papers are a special release from CTMH (Miracle, I think) and may not be available now. :(
I love the Just Blooms from CTMH - they're just so easy to use and make a card instantly beautiful. :)
All cards measure approximately 4 X 4" and have 99% CTMH products.
Enjoy!

Color Blocked "Thanks" Card
Another simple card - another simple card I love.
I believe that CTMH is retiring most of these colors (from the Summer Celebration collection) and replacing them with fresh, new colors. I understand the replacing and refreshing, but I'm still a little sad because I love these colors.
All of the patterned paper is edged with blank ink to make them pop. :)
Everything except the card base is CTMH.
Enjoy!

Hello - Color Blocking
Another perfect example of a non-complex card:
Also a great way to use up scraps that you may have stashed (in abundance if you're anything like me).
Adding the distressed edges brings more life and texture to the card - and, of course, a little bling never hurt. :)
Card base is SU! Remainder of the products used are CTMH. Card measures standard A2 size.
Enjoy!

Monochromatic Thank You
Green is my favorite color. I just love it. It reminds me of fresh air, trees, and camping - all of which make me happy.
Cards don't always have to be complex to be pretty. This is a very simple card and I still love it.
Everthing other than the card base is CTMH. The card base is from SU! CS (it is the natural - with the flecks of particles - love it).
I ran the twill over the ink pad so that it would absorb a green hue and tie in nicely with the the paper blocks. :)
Card measures standard A2 (4.25 X 5.5")
Enjoy!

Snow Friends Mini Clipboard
I love these little guys from CTMH. This was a set that was first introduced as a Stamp of the Month set, but they brought into the regular line of product the following year. Good thing because these guys are just adorable! :)
The little clipboards are a fun alternative to plain old Post-It notes. With the binder clip on top, you can hang this little board up next to your computer (or anywhere else you need sticky notes). Also, it is refillable! :)
The base of the clipboard is 4 X 4" chipboard. All products (other than chipboard, binder clip, and sticky notes) are from CTMH.
Enjoy!
Chef/Kitchen Cards
More little "Thanks" cards for a WAHM (Work at Home Mommy) who sells Pampered Chef.
(Love the polka dotted chef's hat)
These cards all measure approximately 3 X 3". Mostly CTMH for these cuties.
Enjoy!

More Purse Cards!
My client came back for more small purse cards. :)
This is the "new" batch:
The green with zebra print is my *fav*:
The purses are colored with Copic markers (love them, by the way). The papers are from various companies (some CTMH).
Enjoy!
